I'm back - perfect circle

The Grand Canyon
Well, I’m back from the open world of adventures, quite delirious and definitely dopey. I got back a couple of days ago and just realised that I forgot about a good friend’s birthday and I’ve seen her twice since I got back. Shame on me.
It was a great trip, I would’ve liked to have shared some of it with you all as I went along but for some reasons all the Internet chances I had wouldn’t let me log in. So all I could do was peruse, yearn to comment and vote.
Thanks to David for keeping the blog alive and discussing some unique topics to write about. It was much appreciated.
I have to admit that since I got back I haven’t been disciplined in getting down to the art of blogging. I think it’s something to do with sitting down. I know it makes me sound old and probably lazy but I keep thinking of other things I need to do like, tidy up, running around, shopping and things like that. But it is easier not to fall asleep if I’m on my feet, which tends to happen if I sit down and more so if I recline.
I’ve had a peculiar case of jetty-lag since I got back; staying awake is quite a challenge. But I really shouldn’t complain as I’m not back at work yet. And there’s a good reason for that seeing as I’m looking for work, plus have a few health things I need to sort out first. So you would think I would hurl myself into blogging, but while I’ve enjoyed looking and reading all the posts, getting down to writing hasn’t really happened. Well, only in fits and spurts and I don’t think that maketh a post.
So for now, I will say hello and let you know that a proper post is coming soon. The trip was brilliant and I’m looking forward to telling you about it and the films that I saw.
See you later, hope you're all well.

Yes, the canyon was grand. As soon as I saw it, I realised they don't call it that for nothing...it is incredible and definitely not over-rated.
Thanks for popping in,you are my first respondent as always.

Thanks for popping in. Yes, jet-lag seems to be hitting me harder in my old age. I keep falling asleep by 8pm and wondering where the evening has gone. Ah well, it was all worth it, it was a brilliant trip.

As always, your nickname for makes me laugh.
Yes, I did go on that see-through contraception. Have you been? I only have one pic that they took before I crawled around it. You can see the fear in my barely-open eyes, I couldn’t even pretend to smile I was so scared. But it’s not one I can post, it’s one of those tourist ones that we succumbed to (it doesn’t happen often). I don’t have any other pics I can share as the whole curved saunter was too much for me. I slithered the whole way round as fast as I could. People laughed at me, but I didn’t care, my aim was to get around as fast as possible.
But the view was amazing and it is an incredibly innovative idea.
More details on the rest of the trip will follow....as soon as I write them,
Bye and hope all is well with you,
Tracy

Congratulations on your nuptials, it looks like you had a great honeymoon. I tried to comment on your post about Universal Studios as we went there too, but the dratted internet wouldn’t let me in.
We started in Maui, then hopped across to L.A, then Vegas (couldn’t find you), New York and then England.
It was all brilliant. I’ll be writing more soon. I also saw some good films. Hopefully I'll get some reviews sorted soon.
Good to see you, thanks for popping in,
Tracy

Welcome back.
You have answered my question there in John D's response... I wondered if you'd caught any good films whilst on tour that you'll tell us about?
Look forward to all your news as you 'unpack' it.
I'm told the best cure for jet lag is to scrunch your bare toes in the carpet.

I love your words of wisdom for jet lag...luckily we have carpet upstairs so I'll do that up there, thank-you
I will be unfolding the films as my brain moves back into a functioning organism....

I had a great time, thanks. I'm still in holiday mode which I love.
I thought of you when I was in the land of scandal and celebrity activity, ie L.A. What a place that is.
Hope you're well,

Thank-you, it's good to see you too.
So many of your posts that I read on my travels were compelling. I was desperate to comment but couldn't which was so frustrating, so I'll have to go back and read them properly and absorb your wiseness.
