The object of my affection
August 4th 2007 23:32
In the vein of Dusk sharing her dedicated adulation for Stephen Larkham, I thought I would share mine.
He’s black and white, loves sitting on my lap while I Orble, has twinkling eyes, tufty hair and a pesky personality. No I’m not talking about my husband, it’s our fluffer Fergal.
I felt he deserved a post of his own, not just the odd mention in comments. Plus, I haven't seen any films lately to review.

Forget the movies, forget google, I'm all for Fergal, show me an animal and I'm undone.
Mrs. M's love and stuff, [just remembered - it must be the brain work ]

I'm glad you liked my little angel. He is a bundle of love and hair.
Have you got any pets?

But when I move into my big new house I intend to have lots of them, including one so delightful as yours.
Watch him wag his tail when you tell him about me. Those feelings of love float through the air, you know.

what an adorable little animal! He certainly is a cutie pie...No wonder you love him so...
But then again you know me and animals, I tend to prefer them over people 5-1...
LOL
Take care,
Nick

What a cutie! That tail is certainly wagging.
A post well deserved for a fine friend.

I'd like to see a new category on your blog, where Fergal reviews the great Dog Movies.

I hadn't heard of a sulfur crested Cockatoo so I looked them up, they look like graceful creatures. And of course lorikeets are beautiful too. The only birds I've ever had are budgies when I was younger and that wasn't that satisfying (no offence to the birds), but I really wanted an animal to cuddle but we couldn't as my dad was in the army and we kept moving.
Oh, that would be a dream to have a house of pooches. Do you have a favourite breed?
I'll test Fergal's tail wagging when I mention you when he wakes up from his nap. We went for a long walk today and he had a good frolic so he's pooped. I love this expression:

It's nice to see you, hope you're well.
Glad you like the little fella, his personality is as adorable as he looks! I have so many pics of him that it took me ages to decide on one....

Thanks for popping in, yes he is gorgeous isn't he? And he has the best temperment, pesky, fun and adorable without the incessant yapping that some smaller dogs do.
You have horses don't you? Do you have any other animals too?
Byeee and nice to see you,

Fergs is Maltese/Shih Tzu, but so many people have asked if has Poodle in him because of his curly hair. So really who knows? Like you, we're not racist, we don't mind what's in him. And who would I be to talk, I'm a complete mixture of races
What work do you do?
Thanks for popping in, nice to see you,

Mainly sitting on laps, lying on beds and fossicking for food...
For intellectual stimulation I have started writing this Huntheadlines blog with my writing group Poodles With Pens, although it's under my name...
There's me, Shelley Poe and Wordsworth Whitman who we call W2 for obvious reasons...
All the best to Fergal and you...

I have a cat, named Alfie who insists on walking across my keyboard whenever I'm on the pc at home. Why must cats do that?
Thankfully my puppy, Vino, can't do the same!

That sounds like a very cosy lifestyle you have with your pooches.
Poodles with Pens sounds great, a unique idea.

You have a good memory remember Fergs with his Elizabethan collar (that didn’t work, somehow he still gained access to his tootsie.)
Thanks for your compliments, good to see you

Thank-you for your Fergal compliment, yes he is gorgeous. My friend had a cat that did that too, maybe it's because the computer is warm? But it wouldn't be helpful I would imagine!!
Aw, you have a pupp? What kind?

Thanks for popping in.
You sound just like me in the pet shops, even though I have a dog I still go all gooey when I see other ones. I think my husband is worried that one of these days I'll come home with another one!
Glad you like the name, it’s quite unusual isn’t it? And I call him all sorts Fergalily, Fergus, Ferger Burger...it’s a great name for creating other names with.
Do you have any pets?

I love that name, my parents have a dog that I named Gizmo too. How adorable that your daughter calls her Kitty Cat-that's very apt!!
